I take photos every day within a 50-mile radius of my home near Martinsville, Virginia. Most of the photos were taken using my Leica D-Lux 8 camera…an affordable Leica … for me anyway … less than $2000. I have other cameras but the Leica is the most fun to use, and fun is what it’s all about for a “senior” person like me with precious time on his hands. I began my photo journey decades ago and the style that’s resulted is one oriented on documenting simple, real life scenes and objects I see around me that many others might overlook. No one but me saw what I saw when I saw it. I’d like to share my joy in that with you. Thanks for looking.
